Cleveland Rams

The Rams began life as an inaugural member of the second American Football League. A championship game at the Cleveland Indians' home, League Park, was supposed to be played against the first-place Boston Shamrocks, but was cancelled when unpaid Boston players refused to participate. The following season the club shifted to the NFL and played in Cleveland until 1945, transferring to Los Angeles the following season.
